Savanna, Ill, Oct 15 -- Donald J. P. Sullivan passed away Thursday evening at five o'clock at his home on Bowen street. The deceased was born at Savanna, March 10, 1903 and when three years of age moved to Clinton with his family. Returning in 1917, the family has lived in this city ever since.
The deceased was a graduate of the Savanna Township high school, class of 1921 and attended St. Ambrose college at Davenport. He was later employed as clerk at the Milwaukee ice house.
Following an illness of four years duration the deceased had been confined to his bed for the past two weeks. He is survived by his parents, Cornelius and Alice Bradley Sullivan and one sister, Mary Elizabeth.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at nine o'clock from St. John's Catholic church, with Father William McGuire saying requiem high mass. Burial will be at the Savanna Catholic cemetery.
