Louis H. Kepler of Mt. Vernon, was well known to Clinton people and one of eastern Iowa's most prominent attorneys, died at Cedar Rapids hospital Thursday after a two years' illness. His father, Captain Charles W. Kepler, was a leader at the Iowa bar for 50 years. Mr. Kepler was graduated at Cornell and Northwestern and four years he served as postmaster at Mt. Vernon. His mother survives. His father died a few years ago.
