AGED LYONS MAN ENDS LIFE
William T. Bell, of 115 North Ninth street took his own life last evening when he cut his throat with a razor. Ill health was thought to be the reason, as he had been ailing for some time.
The deceased was about 75 years old and was born in Kentucky. He was an old soldier and for the past few years has made his home in Lyons.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Wm. Conley of Lyons, and four sons, Earl of Fulton; Harry of Lyons; Hiram of Albany and Grant of New Raymond, Colo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the W. J. Shadduck undertaking parlors. Rev. E. G. Hunt will officiate and burial will be made in the Fulton cemetery.

BELL FUNERAL HELD YESTERDAY
Funeral services for the late Wm. Bell were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the W. J. Shadduck Undertaking parlors. The Rev. E. G. Hunt officiated and during the services Miss Gladys Shadduck sang. Burial was made in the Fulton cemetery. The following people attended the casket: John Cripe, Arthur Beardsworth, James Agnew, Wm. Flannery, Jake Temple and William Sheridan.

The funeral of Wm. Bell was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Shadduck Undertaking parlors in Lyons and burial was made in the Fulton cemetery. Mr. Bell was 75 years of age and was born in Scales Mound, Ill. He came to this city 37 years ago, and had been a resident here until about a year ago, when he moved to Lyons to live with his nephew, Harry Bell. He was apparently in good health until about two weeks ago when he was taken ill and passed away Wednesday evening. He was married in 1870 to Miss Victoria Johns, of Elizabeth, Ill. To this union was born one son, Earl, of this city. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Wm. Conley of Lyons, two brothers, Hiram of Albany and Grant of New Raymond, Ohio, and a nephew, Harry Bell.
The casket was attended by Jacob Temple, John Cripe, Arthur Beardsworth, William Flannery, James Agnew and William Sheridan. The services were conducted by Rev. E. G. Hunt of the First Methodist Episcopal church of Lyons.
