OXFORD JUNCTION--Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, Oct. 22, at 1:30, at Zion United Church of Christ, Lowden, for Christian Hamdorf, 65, who died Friday Oct. 19, at the Hults Rest home, Oxford Junction, where he had been for the last two years. Burial was in St. Paul's cemetery, Wheatland.

Mr. Hamdorf was born in Germany, May 7, 1897, and came to the United States when a young man and settled in the Wheatland area. He was united in marriage to Amelia Riedesel, Wheatland, who died in 1957. He had been engaged in farming for many years.

He is survived by a son, Harry, Lowden; two brothers, Albert, Stanwood, and Edward, Davenport; and a sister, Mrs. Herman Riedesel, Wheatland.

Preceding him in death were his wife, a daughter, his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
