Steven John Davis was born November 21, 1958 in Savanna, Illinois, the son of Clifford and Marcella (Nolte) Davis. He was a 1977 graduate of Clinton High School. He married Cindy Wilke on June 20, 1981 in Clinton, Iowa. Together they shared in the joy of raising two children. Steve worked for ADM in Clinton for 41 years.
He enjoyed bowling, playing games with family and cooking. His family was his whole life above everything else he enjoyed spending time with them and being a grandfather to Melanie which was one of the greatest joys in his life.
Steve will be dearly missed by his wife Cindy of Clinton; two children: Stephanie (Kristopher) Tieso of Bettendorf and Zachery Davis of Clinton; one granddaughter: Melanie Tieso; his mother: Marcella Davis of Clinton; six siblings: Peggy (Mark) Jacobsen of Clinton, Mark Davis of Clinton, Kevin (Carri) Davis of Marion, Iowa, Pete Davis of Clinton, Cindy Davis of Clinton and Cathy (Perry) Tegges of Dubuque; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, sister-in-law Connie Davis and nephew Christopher Davis.
