Obituary for Dylan R. Busse
Dylan R. Busse, 21, of Camanche passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Private Funeral Services will be Tuesday at the CLINTON Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Camanche. Public Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, Monday May 18, 2020 at the CLINTON funeral home. Following COVID-19 regulations 10 people will be allowed into the funeral home at a time to pay their respects to Dylan. Dylan Robert Busse was born June 26, 1998 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Michael and Brenda (Funnell) Busse. He was a 2016 graduate of Camanche High School. He worked various jobs starting with his first paper route and more recently was working for Comcast in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He was an active member in Cub Scouts, he played baseball for the Camanche City League, Camanche High School and several travel teams. He also played for the Quad-City Heat Baseball Team for three years. He loved playing travel and school basketball. He was known for his pitching skills, homeruns, and dunking the basketball.
He loved playing sports, spending time with friends, swimming, fishing, spending time on the river and boating. He played golf since he was 4 years old. Mostly he enjoyed time spent with his family, friends and his beloved pets. His jokes and teasing will be missed by his family and friends.
Dylan is survived by his loving parents: Mike and Brenda Busse of Camanche; maternal grandmother: Pat Funnell of Clinton; maternal grandfather: Richard (Carole) Funnell of Larsen, Wisconsin; paternal grandparents: Robert and Ann Busse of Laurens, Iowa; half-brothers: Craig (Pascha) Busse of Clinton and Chris (Pam) Busse of Clinton; half-sister: Michelle Busse of Clinton ; aunts and uncles: Debbie and Fred Webb of Butler, Missouri, Brian and Rachel Funnell of Framingham, Massachusetts, Troy Busse and (Kari Nicola) of Taylor Ridge, Illinois and Lori and Joe Zeman of Pocahontas, Iowa; nieces and nephews: Ethan, Austin, Jaden, Connor, Nolan and Bryleigh; many cousins; and his beloved pet, Buster.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents: Elsie Blount and Evelyn and James Handy and his dog Buddy.
