Neva M. Richeson, age 86 of Clinton, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at her home. Private graveside services will be held on Monday, April 27th at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Neva was born in Morrison, IL on November 14, 1933, the daughter of Fred and Laura (Holman) Leibert. She married Virgil “Bud” Richeson on September 25, 1954 in Clinton. Neva was a homemaker and baby sitter. She had been employed at the Clinton Lock Shop, AC Nielsen and Pierson Dry Cleaners. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Neva enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, crocheting, and playing cards.

Neva is survived by her husband, Bud; a daughter, Laurie (Tom Lewis) Koranda of Mt. Carroll; 3 grandchildren, Erica (Mark) Capron, Jessica Koranda and Nicholas Koranda; 2 great grandchildren, Harper and Gage Capron; her sister, Evelyn (Arnold) Matje; a brother-in-law, Francis, Jr. “Sonny” and his wife Gloria Richeson of Clinton and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 infant children. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
