The funeral of the late Harry Brenizer of Freeport was held this afternoon from the family home in that city. Relatives from Clinton attended the obsequies.
Mr. Brenizer was one of the best known conductors on the Milwaukee road, and for years ran between this city and Freeport. His death was due to neuritis complicated with heart trouble. Mr. Brenizer came to Clinton from Pennsylvania with his parents 51 years ago. He was educated in this city, and began his railroad life here. He had been a Milwaukee employe for 20 years. Three years ago he became ill, and had suffered much since, though he continued working until quite recently.
He was married in January in 1880, to Miss Anna Kenneke, of this city who with two children survives the deceased. There also, survive, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Brenizer, of this city, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Ida Markham of Clinton, Horace Brenizer of Omaha, Mrs. Bertha Schenck, of LaPorte, Ind., and C. A. Brenizer of Chicago.
Mr. Brenizer had hundreds of warm friends in Clinton who learned with deepest regret of his death.
