Obituary for Elin J. Putman
Elin J. Putman, 82, of Camanche passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at her home at Park Vista – Camanche.
Private graveside services are taking place immediately at Rose Hill Cemetery in Camanche. The Camanche Chapel Snell Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is honored to care for the Putman family and online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Elin Jane Putman was born May 23, 1937, the daughter of Gale and Frances (Brown) Hungerford. She married James Putman on July 16, 1954 in Cornwall, Ontario; he preceded her in death on March 20, 2019
She worked at Camanche Schools, K-Mart, Mercy Hospital and the Clinton Driver’s License Station.
Elin is survived by her three sons: Terry (Sue) Putman of Rock Island, Illinois, Tony Putman of Camanche and Rob (Renee) Putman of Camanche; one daughter: LeeAnn Putman-Thomas of Adel, Iowa; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother and one sister.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
