Mrs. Hans Anderson of this city died Wednesday morning about 9:30 after an illness since last Thanksgiving, the direct cause of her death being a cancer.

Mrs. Anderson was born May 18, 1845 in Denmark and came to America in 1881 and since then has been living in this city. Her husband died about six months ago.

She leaves to mourn her death, three children, Anna K. Anderson at home, Annette Anderson at Iowa City and Hans Anderson of this city.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon with services at the home, 916 Tenth avenue at 1:30 and from Oakland chapel at 2 o'clock, with interment in Oakland cemetery. Rev. Gotke of Clinton has charge of the services.
