Brandon D. Sturtz age 23 of Clinton, passed away Friday April 3, 2020 in Clinton. A private family service will be held at the Pape Funeral Home with burial planned at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery, Clinton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Brandon was born on Dec. 19, 1996 in Lake Forrest, IL, the son of Kevin and Ditas (Deinla) Sturtz. He graduated from Clinton High School in 2015. Brandon worked as a cook at Village Inn and later at the Wild Rose Casino. He loved his family and had a kind and gentle heart. Brandon earned his Black Belt in Taekwondo from IMPACT Martial Arts. To many people, Brandon wasn’t just a friend, he was their brother. He loved hunting and fishing; his duck and goose calling was one of the best.

Brandon is survived by his parents, Kevin and Ditas Sturtz; two brothers, Bryant Sturtz of Clinton and JHerico Frias of Davenport, IA; two sisters, Joann “Dee” (Joey) Due of the Philippines and JHoanna Frias of Chicago, IL; his paternal grandparents, James and Marie Sturtz of Clinton; several aunts and uncles, three nieces, Autumn Sturtz, CJ Due, and Aja Due; and a nephew, Bentley Sturtz. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, his uncle, Bobby, and an aunt, Edna.

No Public Visitation.

A private family service will be held at the Pape Funeral Home with burial planned at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery, Clinton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
