William Francis "Bill" Enwright passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. In following Bill's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
He was born on January 2, 1948, in Clinton, Iowa, to Arthur and Veronica (nee McConohy) Enwright. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1966. He was Vietnam veteran who proudly served in the 196th Light Infantry Brigade, and he worked for the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad as a Trainmaster.
He was an active member of the VFW #7448 in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, serving on the board. Bill was a loving father and grandfather. He was very generous and enjoyed being of service to his friends and family. He loved fishing, watching sprint car races, having a good time, and catching up with friends.
Survivors include his children: Heather (Philip) Hannah, Adam (Julie) Enwright, Joshua Enwright; six grandsons; brother Jerry Enwright; sisters: Sue (Jeff) Hardy, Betty (John) Perion, and Nancy Raguse. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Judy Smith and Ruth, and his brother Alan Enwright.
A celebration of life will occur at a later date.
