Martin Connor, for many years employed by the Chicago & Northwestern in this city, died suddenly at noon today while engaged in his work for the company in the local storehouse department.

Mr. Connor, who made his home on Park avenue, had been in his customary good health during the morning. Just before noon he fell to the floor, and had passed away before medical assistance could be given him. A sudden attack of heart disease is thought to have been the cause of his death.

Coroner Kellogg was summoned, and after examining the body and investigating the circumstances, decided that it will not be necessary to hold an inquest. The remains were prepared for burial this afternoon, and later were removed to the family home. Mr. Connor is survived by his wife and a family of sons and daughters.

The funeral arrangements were not announced this afternoon.
