Eugene Wolfe, 62, passed a way late Sunday afternoon in Mercy Hospital, Clinton, where he had been a patient for two weeks following a heart attack at his home. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred heart Church. burial was in St. James cemetery. Mr. Wolfe was born at Lyons, May 14, 1902, the son of the late John B. and Mary Lyons Wolfe and when he was six months old the family moved to this vicinity. He was a graduate of St. Ambrose College in Davenport and attended Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls, and taught in the Clinton county schools. He is survived by two brothers, Francis of Sioux city and Father Thomas Wolfe of Clinton and one sister, Mrs. Irene Lahey, who made her home with him. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Paul, Richard, Edward, John and Cyril.
