MILBERT AVERY
Milbert Avery, 21 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Avery of 809 Tenth avenue, died Saturday afternoon at 2:15 at the home of his aunt, Mrs. John Anderson.
Deceased was born in this city February 8, 1899, and was educated in the Clinton schools. He had been ill since last February and was recently taken to Iowa City, Iowa, for treatment. However, he was en route home when his death occurred, due to a heart ailment.
The remains arrived here Saturday evening and were taken to the home on Tenth avenue. Private funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:15 at the home, with Rev. Cady officiating.

Funeral services for the late Milbert Avery, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Avery, were held this afternoon at 2:15 from the home, 809 tenth avenue. Rev. Cady officiated at the service and burial was made in Springdale cemetery.
The pallbearers were: Carl Johnson, Bert Johnson, Chris Stamp, Theodore Stamp, George Stamp and Richard Danielsen. Among the out of town persons here to attend the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson of Davenport, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Wade and daughter of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. James Ellwood and child from Danville, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Chris Danielsen of Tama, Iowa.
