Charles DeWitt, aged 1 1/2 years, little son of H. S. DeWitt, 713 Seventh street, died last night at 8:30 after an illness of but four hours. The little tot had been playing happily all afternoon and was put in bed for his nap. A few minutes later his mother heard peculiar sounds and entering the room found him in convulsions. A physician was called but all efforts proved of no avail.

Charles was born in November, 1913. He is the youngest of six children. The next two older are twins. One of the twins, Stanley, is in the hospital with a broken thigh, sustained two weeks ago. Mr. DeWitt is employed by the Northwestern. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. from the residence.

The funeral of Raymond Francis, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert DeWitt, was held from the home at 713 Seventh street yesterday afternoon, the services being conducted by Rev. F. H. Burrill, pastor of the Episcopal church.

Mrs. Anna Jordan-Weise, and Miss Ethel Sutton beautifully and feelingly rendered two selections "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "God be With You "Til We Meet Again."

The floral offerings were handsome and profuse, mute testimony of the sympathy extended to the bereaved parents in the loss of their baby of the household. The little one slept peacefully among the roses, the fairest rosebud of all.

The pall bearers were: Vincent Carroll, Raymond Carroll, Dick James and Donald Smith. Interment was made in Springdale cemetery.
