Mrs. Louisa Unruh, aged 90 years, passed away at 5:30 o'clock New Year's evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. A. Carroll, 825 Eleventh avenue, after an illness due to the infirmities of old age.

The deceased was born in Wilmington, Del., on August 10, 1828. She spent her youth and was married in the east, living in Chicago a great number of years also before coming to Clinton eight years ago to make her home with her daughter. Her husband passed away years ago, and five sons and four daughters survive, living in Chicago, Portland and California. Mrs. Carroll being the only member of her family in Clinton.

The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the Carroll home, Rev. G. D. Rogers, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Interment will be in Springdale cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Louise Unruh, who passed away New Year's day at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. A. Carroll, 825 Eleventh avenue, was held at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the Carroll home, Rev. George D. Rogers, pastor of the First Baptist church officiating. Miss Florence Bergendahl sand "In the Sweet Bye and Bye," and Mrs. Wing and Miss Bergendahl sand "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere."

The pallbearers were F. H. Browning, W. W. Patterson, W. H. Wing, B. W. Bartow, George Olney and L. W. Barker.

Mrs. S. J. Mullen and son Clarence of Chicago, and G. W. Unruh of Des Moines are here to attend the funeral.

Interment was in Springdale cemetery.
