Charles D. “Dan” Ettinger Sr. age 86 of Clinton, passed away Tuesday March 17, 2020 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Private family graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Friday March 20th at Glendale Cemetery in LeClaire, IA. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Charles was born on August 30, 1933 in Iowa City, the son of Charles and Grace (Gilbert) Ettinger. He married Juanita Shipley in 1984 in Iron Mountain, MI. Charles worked at the Laborers Iron Mountain Construction Union #1329 for many years.

Charles is survived by his wife, Juanita Ettinger of Clinton; three daughters, Ruth Ann (Larry) Kocian, Rose Mary Smith, and Vicki Lee Lemke; 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-son, Ricky.

Graveside Service:

Private family graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Friday March 20th at Glendale Cemetery in LeClaire, IA. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
