DeWitt Clinton Heath, aged 76 years passed away Saturday evening at his home on West Main street after a three weeks' illness with pneumonia.

Mr. Heath was born in New York state Feb. 15, 1839. He came west in 1868 and settled in this city in 1871 where he has since resided.

Clinton Heath was well known throughout this city, he having been the first man to establish a city delivery system of milk by wagon in this city. He also conducted a fruit and vegetable farm just west of this city.

Mr. Heath leaves to mourn his death one daughter, Mrs. Clyde Robert Cedrick, of Boozeman, Montana and one son, Charles Heath, of this city. The funeral will be conducted by Rev. P. S. Slocum Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the house, with interment in Oakland cemetery and will be private.

The funeral of the late DeWitt Clinton Heath was held Tuesday afternoon from the home on West Main street. Rev. P. S. Slocum officiated at the services and interment was made in Oakland cemetery.

The pall bearers were Herman Suehl, Lang Buell, John Greve, Otto Rixen, Nick Schwartz and A. L. Martensen.
