Carol A. Connolly, 73, of Clinton passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Pearl Valley Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Muscatine, Iowa.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Carol Ann Taylor was born October 21, 1946 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of John and Evelyn (Loehrl) Taylor. She enjoyed listening to music, playing tennis in her earlier years, and she was an excellent painter. Mostly Carol enjoyed her grandchildren.
She is survived by her five children: Todd (Robin) Burkhart of Laveen, Arizona, Curt (Jamie) Burkhart of Clinton, Matt (Rosie) Connolly of Houston, Texas, Sara Connolly of Clinton and Lettie (Matt) Posey of Wyaconda, Missouri; her mother: Evelyn Taylor of St. Peter, Minnesota; seven grandchildren: Ian (Sarah) Burkhart, Brandon Burkhart, Julianna Connolly, Natalia and Adriana Connolly, and Sophie and Kate Posey; two great grandchildren: Henley and Remington Burkhart and sister: Beverly (Robert) Pillers of St. Peter, Minnesota.
Carol was preceded in death by her father and brother Zachary.
Memorials may be made to the L'Arche of Clinton.
