Services for Virgil C. Jacobsen, 49, of rural Delmar, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Delmar Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.
Visitation is 3:30 to 9 p.m. today at Carson Funeral Home, Maquoketa.
A memorial has been established.
Mr. Jacobsen died Thursday at Jackson County Hospital, Maquoketa, after an extended illness.
He was a farmer.
He married Delores Weets in 1952 in Maquoketa.
Survivors include his wife' daughters, Mrs. Steve (Janice) Ales, Dubuque, and Carla, at home; a son, Danny, at home, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jacobsen, rural Delmar.
