Samantha Belt Wray, aged 84, died Saturday at midnight at the home of her daughter in law, Mrs. David E. Wray, 121 Fourth avenue. Mrs. Wray was born in Ohio in 1830. She married David Wray sixty years ago. He died six years after. One son, David Elvin, was born to the union. He succumbed six weeks ago.

Mrs. Wray is survived by two sisters, Mrs. S. E. Coleman, Muskogee, Okla., Mrs. H. T. Daily, Ipswich, S.D., by her daughter in law, Mrs. D. E. Wray and by four grand children, Mrs. Allen Taylor, Rock Island, Mrs. Carl Nixon, Chicago, Mrs. Charles Beardslee and Edwin Wray of Clinton.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the Methodist church in Albany, Ill., at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Albany cemetery.
