LeRoy O. Langrehr, Jr. age 76 of Camanche, passed away Sunday Feb. 2, 2020 at his home. According to family wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday Feb. 10th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday 9:30 AM until the service hour at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be held at the Shaffton Cemetery near Folletts at a later date. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Clinton County Eco-Center. LeRoy was born on June 1, 1943 in Clinton, the son of LeRoy and Dorothy (May)
Langrehr, Sr. He married Patricia Otto on Sept. 6, 1964 in Low Moor, IA. LeRoy was a shift manager at the former Rock Tenn (Champion Packaging) from 1964-2009. He enjoyed enduro and motocross motorcycling, snowmobiling, and fishing.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, Pat of Camanche; two daughters, Christine (Greg) Humrichouse of West Branch, IA and Karen (Phil) Peters of Cedar Rapids; 7 grandchildren, Michael, Jill (Ben), Daniel (Jasmine), Jennifer (Shane), Matthew, Kaleb, and Catherine (Briar); a great grandson, Carter; three brothers, Alan (Joanie) Langrehr, David Langrehr, and Roger (Linda) Langrehr all of Clinton; his sister, Donna Langrehr of Davenport. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Don.
