Linda Lou (Howes) Hammer, 69, of Clinton passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her children and grandchildren on Saturday, June 1, 2019.

Linda Lou Howes was born July 1, 1949 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Frances (Kness) Howes.
Linda loved her beer, cigarettes, and books. She spent her time as a homemaker, cooking exceptional meals, keeping her house spotless, and taking care of her beloved children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Bari "Bucky" Leighanne Holden of Clinton, Cody Christian Charles (Kimberly Leech) Hammer of Wheatland, Iowa and Jodi Lynn (Mark) Jackson of DeWitt, Iowa; and seven grandchildren: Linda Millicent (Beaux Walwer) LeDrigg of Panama City, Florida, Baryn Michael LeDrigg of Clinton, Loryn Lee Holden of Clinton, Elijah John Vance of Wheatland, Iowa, Lindsey Marie Pardee of Fulton, Illinois, Levi Robert Leech of Clinton and Dustin James Leech of Wheatland.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.
Memorial may be made to the family or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
