Mrs. Elizabeth Riley, a former resident of Camanche, passed away at 5:30 o'clock Thursday evening at the home of her daughter; Mrs. Lizzie Goede, in Davenport, aged 77 years.

The remains were brought to Clinton this afternoon and the funeral will be held here Sunday afternoon.

The deceased was born in Rochester, N.Y., on May 27, 1840. In 1862 she was united in marriage with John Riley, who died in 1902. She had lived in Dixon and Albany, Ill., before taking up her home in Camanche.

Survivors of the deceased are her daughters, Mrs. Goede and Mrs. John Jonson of Davenport; a son, John, of Camanche; a brother, Miles of Denver; and a sister, Mrs. Thomas Smith of Ainsworth, Neb.
