Mrs. Carrie Green, wife of James Green of Cordova, Ill., formerly of Clinton, passed away at her home there at 5:30 o'clock Wednesday evening, after a week's illness of pneumonia.

The deceased was aged 58 years, and for several years had made her home in Clinton, living on Sixth street. About two months ago the family removed to Cordova.

Surviving the deceased are her husband and six daughters: Mrs. Margaret Brierly of Peoria, Mrs. Kate Forney of Albany, Mrs. Laura Kelly of Texas, and Mrs. Ann Ross, Alta Sparks and Lee Bruner of Clinton.

The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the home in Cordova with services in the Methodist Episcopal church and burial in the Cordova cemetery.
