John Conners, aged 47 years, passed away at his home, 204 South Fourth street, at 3:45 yesterday afternoon. Mr. Conners had been ill for six months with a complication of diseases. He was employed as a solicitor for the ADVERTISER when under the Fay management, and for the past several years was employed at the Clinton Paper company. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Mrs. Mary Conners; two sons, John, Jr., of Freeport, Ill., and Raymond Conners; a daughter, Mrs. John Hide of Clinton, and also an aged mother and seven grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Patrick's church. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. John Conners of Freeport and Mrs. W. K. Ellington of Chicago will come to be present at the services.

Funeral services for John Connors were held Tuesday morning at the St. Patrick's church. Father J. A. Murray said solemn high mass and burial was made in St. Mary's cemetery. The pall bearers were: Martin Dean, Oscar Khole, Henry Waggoner, William Hennan and John McDowell.
