John Peterson, 1016 South Fourth street, who was fatally injured at the Clinton Sugar Refinery yesterday morning, died at Agatha hospital at 5 p.m. yesterday. Mr. Peterson was forty-five years of age and had resided in Clinton all his life. He is survived by his wife, two brothers, Claus of Clinton and Frank of Minneapolis, and one sister, Mrs. Richard Tadsen of this city. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon from the home of Mrs. Richard Tadsen, 1112 Chicago street, Lyons.

The funeral of the late John Peterson was held from the home of his brother-in-law Richard Tadsen, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Hugo Grimm, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church conducted the services in the English language. Many friends and relatives of the deceased attended the services. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. The pallbearers were Messrs. William Witt, John Ebensberger, Charles Becker, Louis Metzger, Herman Klare and William Schroer. Interment was made in Oakland cemetery.
