Mrs. Wesley Bishop, aged 65 years, died at her home on Clark street and Elvira road, Clinton, at 9 o'clock last night after an illness of heart trouble extending over a year. The deceased was a former resident of Lyons and has many friends who will be grieved to learn of her death.

Deceased was born in Joe Davis county, December 16, 1852, and came to Lyons in 1885. About seven years ago the family moved to Clinton. She was married to Mr. Bishop nearly 50 years ago and would have celebrated her fiftieth wedding anniversary next June.

Surviving the deceased besides her husband are two daughters, Miss Mary Bishop and Miss Ida Bishop and one son, Stephen Bishop, all at home. She is also survived by three sisters and one brother, Mrs. John Dean, Mrs. Katherine Radamacher, Mrs. Henry Brandt and George Garrington.

The funeral will be held from the late home Friday afternoon at ? o'clock with services by Rev. Keagy, pastor of the Lyons Methodist church.
