Lost Nation, Ia., Sept. 10--Fred Schoff died yesterday morning at 6:40 o'clock at his home at the age of 77 years. He was a retired farmer and a highly respected citizen of Lost Nation. He leaves to mourn his loss eight children as follows: Mrs. Gus Hask, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Henry Moehl and Mrs. Ed Kupferschmidt, Dubuque; Mrs. Henry Kegabine and the Misses Lillie and Matilda, of Lost Nation, A. D. Schoff, of Ward, S.D., and Chas. Schoff, of Lost Nation. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Lutheran church.
