Mr. Thomas White was called to Davenport last evening by a message announcing the serious illness of his brother, James White. Mr. White left at once, but this brother passed away this morning at 12:30 o'clock. The deceased had been a patient at Mercy hospital since last February, and his home was in Toronto. The remains were taken to Toronto and the funeral will be held at the Catholic church there Wednesday morning, with burial in the cemetery adjoining.
