Ted W. Weller, age 70 of Camanche, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019 at his home. In following Ted’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Rock Island National Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Ted was born in Clinton on July 5, 1949, the son of Herbert and Marcella (Schroeder) Weller. He served with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Ted retired from Mid America Energy. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, camping in Savanna, fishing, socializing with friends, eating at his favorite local restaurants and following the Green Bay Packers.

Ted is survived by a son, Jason (Ann) Weller of Camanche; 3 daughters, Kerrie Weller of Camanche, Andrea Weller of Clinton and Jodie (Jeremy) Hodge of Clinton; 4 grandchildren, Kinley, Brantley, Jade and Jacob; 3 brothers, Dwight (Denise) Weller of Suring, WI, Chris Weller of Clinton and Brian (Deb) Weller of Charlotte; a sister Peggy Weller of MN and several nieces and nephews.
