Mrs. Amanda Seeber died suddenly Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at her home, 210 South Third street.

Mrs. Seeber was born in Vermont state, Oct. 7, 1840. She was wedded Jan. 1, 1857, to James S. Seeber who preceded her in 1897, and made her home in Clinton for the last 50 years. The deceased had been in ill health for the past ten years, but always had that ambition and energy to keep herself busy, passing away while at work in her kitchen. She was a devout Christian daughter and a member of the First Presbyterian church.

Surviving to mourn her death, are one son, William Henry Seeber at home; two nephews, James and Harry Hefly of this city; and one niece, Mrs. F. E. Benson, residing here.

Funeral services will be held at Sabula Friday morning with short services at the home in Clinton at 7:30 o'clock, the Rev. H. J. Rendall officiating here.

Short funeral services for the late Mrs. James Seeber were held Friday morning at 7:30 o'clock at the home, 210 Third street, the Rev. H. J. Rendall, officiating. The body was then taken to Sabula via the Milwaukee railway at 8 o'clock, and further services were held at the Sabula Congregational church, the Rev. Phillips in charge there. Interment was made in Sabula cemetery.
