On December 18t6h, 1912, he married Miss Hazel Freeman. To this union were born two children, Jesse LeRoy McDonald, aged 3 years and 5 months, and Bessie Ellen McDonald, aged 1 year and 4 months.

For several years his health has been failing and on April of this year he went west with the hope of regaining it, but not improving, he returned to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse McDonald, passing away Saturday night, May 26th, 1917, at 10:30 o'clock.

Jacob McDonald has always lived an honest, earnest, industrious life and his passing will leave a sad vacancy in his home and the community where he lived.
