Mrs. C. L. Lambertson, 1001 Seventh avenue, died at the Dixon hospital Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock as a result of injuries sustained when the Lambertson machine turned turtle a few miles west of Dixon Wednesday afternoon. It is reported she suffered internal injuries and concussion of the brain. Other occupants of the car, C. L. Lambertson, Laurine Lambertson and Mrs. Frank Considine, were considerably shaken up and bruised.

The deceased was 55 years of age and was born and raised at Garden Plaine, Ill.

Funeral arrangements were not completed today.

Mrs. Charles L. Lambertson, who was injured near Dixon, Ill., passed away at the Katherine Shaw Bethea hospital of that city on August 30.

Lillie A. Bates was born in Gardenplain, Ill., in 1861, and passed her girlhood days in that vicinity, teaching school in Whiteside county.

In September, 1882, she was united in marriage to Charles L. Lambertson of this city, where they have since made their home.

Of the seven children born to them, five are living. They are: Mrs. Elmer E. Traver, residing west of this city; Mrs. Robert Carlton of Popejoy, Ia.; Mrs. John Considine of Wayne, Mich.; Arthur L. and Loring of this city. She is also survived by the husband, C. L. Lambertson. Two sisters, Mrs. Emma Loomis of Fulton, Ill., and Miss Kathleen Bates of this city, and five little grandsons, of whom Mrs. Lambertson was especially proud.

Mrs. Lambertson has always been a devoted and faithful church worker, in her girlhood days being identified with the Presbyterian church of Gardenplain, later becoming a member of the Methodist church of Clinton.

She was also prominent in lodge circles, being at the time of her death a Daughter of the Rebekah and holding the office of Oracle in the Royal Neighbors, Olive Branch.

She was a woman whose broad sympathies, kindness of heart and exceptionally cheerful and happy disposition had gained for her a host of friends. A devoted wife and mother, a good neighbor and a loyal friend, she leaves many sorrowing hearts.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the First M. E. church, the Rev. M. J. Locke to officiate. Interment will be made in Springdale cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. C. L. Lambertson were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the First Methodist church. The Rev. M. J. Locke officiated and burial was made in Springdale cemetery. The Silver Moon Rebekah lodge had charge at the grave. The following were pallbearers: C. H. George, L. H. Bowman, Henry Galbraith, T. M. Carson, Arnold Walliker, W. H. Fitch, Daniel Haller and J. Q. Jeffries.
