Andover, Ia., March 28--The funeral of the late John Will was held Monday afternoon with interment in Andover cemetery. Rev. Hugo Grimm of Lyons conducted the services. A large number of old time friends were present to pay their last respects to one of the few remaining pioneers of the vicinity. Mr. Will was the last surviving resident of what was formerly Teeds Grove, at one time a thriving village, containing a large grist mill, blacksmith shop, wagon and sleigh manufactory, hotel and saloon, dance hall, etc. With the coming of the railroad, however, came the doom of the village, as a station was located about a mile farther north. Few men were more widely known and whose opinion was better respected than Mr. Will and his passing away is a great loss to the community.
