After an illness of five months, Walter Walker died Saturday afternoon, death resulting from pehritis. The deceased was born in Dorschire, England, and came to this country with his parents when he was a child. For a number of years he has been a resident of this vicinity and was employed as watchman of the Lyons and Fulton ferry.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. A. M. Pelton, also a brother, Frank Walker, both of this city; his wife and two children, Nell and Irvin, both of whom are at home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home, 1100 Washington street, with Rev. W. H. Woodfin of the Lyons Congregational church in charge of the services. Burial will be made in Oakland cemetery.

The Walter Walker funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Woodfin in charge of the services. Burial was made in Oakland cemetery.
