Carl Unruh, aged 72 years, died this morning at Agatha hospital after a brief illness. Deceased was born in Germany but has made his home in this vicinity for a number of years.
Funeral arrangements have not been made and are awaiting the arrival of relatives in this city.

Funeral services for the late Carl Unruh, will be held on Saturday, the remains will leave the Shadduck chapel at 8:30 and will be taken to the home of William Unruh, a son of the deceased at Goose Lake, where Rev. Hugo Grimm will officiate at the service to be held there.
A number of the members of the Arbeiter Verein of this city, will attend the funeral in a body as Mr. Unruh was a member of that society. The funeral service to be conducted at the Unruh home in Goose Lake, will be at 2 o'clock followed by burial in the Ingwersen cemetery. The deceased is survived by four sons, Will of Goose Lake, Carl, Robert and August of Milwaukee, Wis., also a sister, Mrs. Hans Lass of Beloit, Wis.

The remains of the late Carl Unruh were taken from here to the home of William Unruh, a son of the deceased at Goose Lake and services were held there on Saturday afternoon, followed by burial in the Ingwersen cemetery.
Rev. Hugo Grimm of St. John's Lutheran church of this city was in charge of the funeral services and the following persons acted as pallbearers: Carl David, William Holdorf, Hans Hansen, Adolph Diesing, Frank Bartles, John Ahrenholz, John Brandenberg and Henry Weiss.
