E. H. Collamer, 231 Seventh avenue passed away Wednesday night at 10 o'clock after an illness of one year with Bright's disease.
For 35 years Mr. Collamer has been employed by the Curtis Brothers company as cabinet maker. Illness forced him to give up his work last spring, and since that time he has been failing gradually.
E. H. Collamer came to Clinton from Schuylarsville, N.Y., April 12, 1879. He was born in Balston Lake, N.Y., August 18, 1851, and was married February 13, 1883 to Lucinda Hulett, who with two sons survive him.
Both sons, Edwin and Waldo, are officers of the Iowa National Guard, the former of Waterloo, is a first sergeant in the Iowa Cavalry. Hospital Corps. Waldo Collmaer is a corporal in Battery A. Two sisters and a brother also survive. They are Mrs. E. A. Spencer of Chicago, Mrs. Addie Morey and Myron Collamer of Schuylerville, New York.
Mr. Collamer was a member of the Western Star lodge A.F. and A.M., Eastern Star lodge No. 32, Holy Cross Commandery No. 10, Knights Templar and the Independent Benevolent society.
The Western Star Masons will have charge of the funeral which will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home. The body will be taken back to the old home in New York for burial.

The funeral of E. A. Collamer, who died Wednesday night was held this afternoon at the home, 231 Seventh avenue. Western Star lodge of Masons had charge of the services, and officiated as pallbearers.
The body will be taken to Schuylerville, N.Y. for burial. Waldo Collamer, son of the decedent, will accompany the body. They will leave at 5 o'clock.
