page 6Mrs. Jane N. Wray, 56 years old, died at her home, 129 Fourth avenue, at 9:30 o'clock this morning after an illness of three or four years.
Mrs. Wray was born in Newton township, Ill., March 19, 1861. She was united in marriage with David Wray, December 20, 1880, at Morrison. They came to Clinton to make their home 16 years ago.
Two years ago Mr. Wray preceded his companion in death. Left to mourn the death of Mrs. Wray are three daughters, one son and two brothers. They are Mrs. Grace Taylor, Rock Island, Mrs. Fannie Beardsley and Edward Wray, Clinton; J. C. Turney and W. J. Turney, of Morrison, Ill.
No funeral arrangements were announced today pending the arrival of relatives from a distance.

The funeral of Jane Wray will be held at the home, 121 Fourth avenue, Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. The body will then be taken to Albany, Ill., where services will be held at the Methodist church. Burial will be made there.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Taylor, Rock Island, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nixon, Chicago, have come to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Jane Wray, 121 Fourth avenue, was laid to rest in the Albany cemetery Saturday afternoon after a funeral service at the Albany Methodist church. A short service was first held at the home with the Rev. Dr. M. J. Locke of the Methodist church, officiating.
At the Albany church, the Rev. Ross, pastor, was in charge. Those who came to Clinton for the funeral and who went with the party to Albany are: Mr. and Mrs. Allen Taylor, Rock Island; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nixon, Chicago; Mrs. Frank Belt, Lyndon, Ill.; W. J. Turney, Morrison; Mrs. Bealer, Fenton, Ill.; Will Turney, Marshalltown.
