Word was received in this city today of the death of Harry W. Johnstone, which occurred at Birmingham, Ill., at the home of a sister of the deceased, Mrs. John Rhodes.

Harry Johnstone was born in England, Nov. 8, 1866, and came to this country at an early age. For a number of years he made his home in this city and left here about two years ago for the south, where he has lived since that time with his sister.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rhodes, and Mrs. Woodbury of Ellisville, Miss., also three brothers, E. C. and H. A. Johnstone of Ellisville, Miss. and David G. Johnstone of this city.

The remains will be brought to this city and the funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at the Shadduck chapel with Rev. R. C. Keagy of the Lyons Methodist Episcopal church officiating. Burial will be made in Oakland cemetery.

The remains of the late Harry W. Johnstone who died in Buckingham, Ill., a few days ago were brought to this city Wednesday and the funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Shadduck chapel, with the Rev. R. C. Keagy officiating at the service.

Burial was made in Oakland cemetery and the following persons acted as pall bearers: Peter H. Dahl, Harry C. Johnson, A. R. Wilson, J. A. Fegan, M. C. Lollich and C. Snodgrass.
