After an illness lasting one week, Charles A. Ringson passed away at Agatha hospital Friday evening at 6 o'clock. Death was due to pneumonia.
Mr. Ringson has been a resident of Clinton 35 years or more. He came to Clinton from Chillicothe, Ohio, where he was born January 28, 1852. He was employed as traveling salesman for the Fort Madison Chair company.
Besides his wife, Mr. Ringson leaves two sons and two daughters. They are Harriet, Grace and Emerson at home, and Ray of Brooklyn, N.Y. The funeral services were not announced today, pending the arrival of the son from the east.

The funeral of C. A. Ringson is being held this afternoon at the home on Olney avenue.
Ray Ringson of Brooklyn, N.Y. arrived in Clinton Sunday night.

Funeral services for Charles A. Ringson were held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home, 704 Olney avenue. The Rev. M. J. Locke of the First Methodist church officiated.
Burial was made in Springdale with the following as pall bearers: Ralph Bather, T. F. Hinton, J. C. Smith, Paterson Rowe, E. W. Nichols and J. W. Henderson.
C. R. Ringson and little son Raymond of Brooklyn, N.Y., were here for the funeral.
