Last Friday Fred Hamdorf, a single man who is well known east of here, in a fit of despondence committed suicide by poisoning himself with strychnine in the barn of his brother Henry about 1 1/2 miles southeast of Wheatland. Deceased was well to do but had of late been indisposed and quite melancholious . We sympathize with his three brothers, three sisters and aged mother who survive to mourn his end.
