Obituary for Roi Ann Babcock

Roi A. Babcock, 68, of Clinton passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at MercyOne Medical Center – Clinton.

Roi Ann Hintz was born November 14, 1950 in Southerland, Iowa, the daughter of William and Sylvia (Hitchcock) Hintz. She attended Camanche High School and graduated from Clinton Community College as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. She mainly worked as an In Home Nurses Assistant. She married Jeff Babcock on June 5, 1990 in Morrison, Illinois.

Roi enjoyed reading, paranormal or ghost tours and people watching. She was free spirit that would just get in the car and go where the road took her. Mostly she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Jeff Babcock of Clinton, three daughters: Michelle Smith of Clinton, Jennifer (David) Johnson of Clinton and Robin (Jeff) Keis of Clinton; four grandchildren: Jazmin, Ivy, Brandi, and Nathan; and two siblings: Weston “Tony” Hintz of Clinton and Rhonda Stein of Rosemont, Minnesota.

Roi was preceded in her death by her parents and two brothers.
