Mrs. William Kelly died this morning at 8 o'clock. She had been a resident of Clinton since 1870, coming here from Philadelphia July 1 of that year.
Ella May Morris was born in County Fermana, Ireland, May 10, 1829. When the family came to America they settled first in Pennsylvania, later coming to Iowa, and to Clinton, where she was married to William Kelly November 5, 1853. Mr. Kelly preceded her in death in 1903.
Five children mourn the loss of their mother. They are all residents of Clinton. J. A., William G., Thomas F., P. H., Mrs. M. A. Wright. There are also a number of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at St. Patrick's church.

Solemn requiem high mass at St. Patrick's church at 9 o'clock yesterday morning marked the close of the life of Mrs. William Kelly, who died Sunday afternoon.
In the sanctuary were Father J. A. Murray pastor, who preached the sermon. Father J. S. Peters, assistant, Father Murphy, Father Riordan, Grand Mound, Father McGuire, Cuba City, Wis., Father Lawler, Davenport and Father Comerford.
Special music was sung by Ruth Chaffee "Ave Marie, May Murray, "Face to Face and John Behan "A Perfect Day".
The pall bearers were T. H. Gavin, P. F. Hallinan, Francis Cormick, Charles McDevitt, Charles Whalen and William Houlihan.
The visiting friends and relatives here for the services: Rev. J. J. McGuire, Cuba City, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Sullivan, Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. M. Abrams, Chicago; Father Frank Lawler, Davenport, Miss Lenore Riley, Delmar, Mr. and Mrs. John Gutman, Thomas and Angela Guinan, DeWitt and Father Riordan, Grand Mound.
