Lewis Adelberg Krebs, aged 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Krebs of North Ninth street, passed away at his home Wednesday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock.

About ten months ago, the young lad had a bad fall on a milk bucket, injuring his leg. Blood poison set in and he was taken to Mercy hospital for treatment. After two months in the hospital he was removed to his home, but gradually grew weaker, despite every medical assistance.

He was born in Lyons August 26, 1901, and was a student of the Lyons public schools. He was a bright lad and his death will be mourned by a large circle of schoolmates, with whom he was a great favorite. His parents, brothers and sisters have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.

Surviving the deceased are his parents, three sisters, Mrs. Hilda Still, of Morrison, Katherine and Esther, at home, and one brother, LeRoy.

The funeral will be held from his late home on North Ninth street Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Hugo Grimm of St. John's Lutheran church will officiate. Interment will be made in Oakland cemetery.
