Mrs. Caroline Petersen, 91, of 1625 E. 15th St., died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born in Clinton, Iowa, and came to California 34 years ago, settling in Monrovia and Redlands before coming to Long Beach about a year ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include five daughters, Miss Ella Petersen and Mrs. Emma Bauhard, both of Long Beach; Mrs. Sally Morrison, Santa Ana, Mrs. Ida Johnson, Nebraska, and Mrs. Eliza Petersen, Florida; two sons, Lloyd and Clinton Petersen, both of Nebraska; sister, Mrs. Emma Bower, Pierson, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Service will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of B. W. Coon Funeral Home with Dr. Charles W. Mayes officiating. Interment will be in Montecito Memorial Park, Redlands.
