Mrs. Frederica Thoms, 81 years old, died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Potratz, 503 Oak street, where she has made her home for fifteen years.

Mrs. Thoms came to this country from Germany, where she was born November 15, 1835. The family came to Clinton 29 years ago, and 12 years later Mr. Thoms passed away.

Three children and five step-children are left to mourn their mother's death. They are Mrs. Potratz, Herman Thoms, Mrs. Reinhld Huebner, Mrs. Alber Foster, August Thoms, Frank Thoms, Mrs. August Muncke, all of Clinton, and a daughter, Mrs. Dondee, in Germany.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at the home at 2 o'clock and at the German Lutheran church at 2:30. The Rev. A. H. Lutz will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Frederica Thomas, mother of Mrs. Ernest Potrazt, was held this afternoon at the house at 2 o'clock and at the German Lutheran church at 2:30. The Rev. A. H. Lutz officiated.

The pallbearers were William Badtke, August Fuhrman, William Schadt, August Rogan, Fred Winkel, August Ketelhut.

Burial was made in Springdale cemetery.
