Mrs. C. Y. Mallory of Camanche died Tuesday afternoon at her home in Camanche, after an illness of several weeks.

Mrs. Mallory was Miss Nan Long, daughter of T. W. J. Long. She was born in Winchester, Va., August 12, 1852, and came with her parents to Iowa in 1853, settling at Camanche. Later they moved to Davenport and lived there until 1889, when the family returned to Camanche.

Mr. Mallory and two children survive. They are Clarence, at home, and Mrs. Ethel Fauer, of Camanche.

The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of I. F. Duell. Burial will be made in Rosehill cemetery. Dr. J. B. Rendall of the Clinton Presbyterian church will officiate.
