Elizabeth C. Neville, daughter of G. W. and Ann E. Neville, was born Nov. 6, 1849, and died Dec. 4, 1916, aged 57 years and 28 days. She was married to R. M. Smith Sept. 8, 1873. She united with the M.E. church in 1874 and has been a constant member every since. She leaves besides her husband, two sons, Ellsworth N., of Hobart, Okla., and Earl D. of DeWitt, also 5 grandchildren and two brothers, William T. Neville, of Lakeview, Iowa, and L. L. Neville of DeWitt besides numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted by the pastor Rev. W. H. Mitchell, assisted by Rev. W. H. Anderson, pastor of the U.P. church Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the M.E. church. Interment in DeWitt cemetery.
